Polypool insulating panels incorporate a patented sandwich of polyurethane foam insulation. For details & prices please see Heatwave thermal swiming pool panels. These are significantly more costly than our already excellent Polymer Panels, but they may be a worthwhile investment especially if the ground is damp. They provide superb insulation for the walls, but not for the floor. Over 80% of heat loss is from the water surface - cheaply controlled with a solar cover. Much of the rest is via the floor, which is controllable in the same way as any other pool, by using our special insulation material below.
Before you decide on specially made thermally insulated panels, it is worth considering less expensive alternatives. We highly recommend our simple closed cell damp-proof insulating sheets for use in constructing the walls and floors of ALL swimming pools, not just specially designed insulated panels. For details please see our XPS insulation boards.

Underwater Lights Conventional headlamp type underwater light kits are £400 each, including transformer. Or take a look at our exciting new easy-fit LED lights with a choice of white, or vivid multi-coloured remote controlled displays. A white LED kit is only £419 including transformer, and each additional white LED light is only another £325. A multicoloured RGB LED light kit is £469 including transformer and remote control, and each additional RGB light is £375.
Standard steps are about 3’4”deep. Suppliment for higher steps for 4ft pool depth is given in brackets. 5' steps also available. Please see more details of stair units. Foam reinforcing is encased with an extra layer of glassfibre for extra strength and stifffness. Copings may need to be cut or mitred to fit. Dimensions are approximate internal. The price of our liner kits includes an allowance for a plain coloured liner with a mosaic tileband, complete with linerlock fixing track. With our luxury kits you can upgrade this to any colour or pattern you like from our huge range of liner materials and tile-bands, just by paying the difference. We encourage our luxury kit customers to wait until they have completed their basic pool shell before instructing us to have their liner manufactured. This is to remove any uncertainty about measurements until you are completely ready. There is no need to worry about whether your liner is going to fit. There is no extra charge for this as such, except if you change to a more expensive material, style or size of liner, or if you leave it until after the factory has an unavoidable annual price increase for example.
If you choose one of our swimming pool kits with copings heavily discounted into the price, we will offer you an excellent choice of 9" or 270mm reconstituted stone pool surrounds, with a choice of three different styles and four different colour shades. Please see coping stones.

With our luxury kits you can upgrade your pump and filter at very little cost if you so wish. For most installations this is probably uneccessary. But you might, for example, want extra capacity to accomodate solar heating or unusually long pipe runs, or you may just wish to be prepared for heavier bathing loads than in a normal domestic swimming pool.
