Easiheat - Portable Pool Heater Specification

The Easiheat offers a simple solution to heating above ground and existing pools and to extend your swimming season. Like a gas barbeque you can wheel it into a suitable position for use and wheel it away when not required.

The heater is a well proven, high efficiency 055 Certikin Propane Gas Pool Heater for pools up to 45,000 litres (10,000 gallons).

The required pool temperature is easily and accurately set with the pool temperature thermostat knob. A mechanical stop can be set to ensure consistent settings and to prevent tampering.

The Easiheat comes complete with a gas regulator and only requires connecting to a suitable electricity supply and gas cylinder. A protected circuit (ELCB) is required for the electrical supply.

To heat up a typical 6 x 3 metre pool with an average depth of 1.5 metres with a 25,000 litres (6000) gallons capacity you will use about 20kg of gas. This is based on a start temperature of 180C (650F) and a swim temperature of 250C (770F), using a pool cover with the boiler running for a 24hr period in the spring. The pool will take approximtely 48 hours to reach temperature.

Once the pool has reached temperature, pool heating is only required to compensate for any heat loss. It is highly recommended that in order to retain heat a pool cover should be used. A float-on bubble cover is very efficient and cost effective.

Options

Internal cartridge filter kit (MB055PEHFK) - This kit connects into the heater with two hand screwed fittings converting the Easiheat into a self contained Heater, Pump and Filter unit.

External filter connection kit (MB055PEHCK) - This pipe kit gives the Easiheat two external connections to allow the addition of a separate filter to the customer’s requirements.

Extension hose kit (MB055PEHHE) - These 4.5m extended hoses are available for locating the Easiheat up to a maximum of 13.5 metres from an outdoor or indoor pool.
